Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) is a training course for Scouts. There are no age requirements or current position of responsibility required to attend. The course helps Scouts learn about leadership roles and responsibilities and how to be effective leaders, equips Scouts with leadership and organizational skills, and prepare Scouts for more advanced leadership courses. This course is a prerequisite for National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).
