Modify or Change Registration
To modify or update your registration, go to https://samhoustonbsa.doubleknot.com/signon/2725. • The person that made the reservation, will be the one that will need to make updates • If you don't know your User ID and Password, select the Need help logging on? link. • Logging in will bring you to the Summary tab showing your current registrations.

Helpful Information About Camp Brosig
- Check-in/out: Check-in is after 3 pm on Fridays and check-out is before 11 am on Sundays.
- Leadership requirements: The leadership requirements are the same as for BSA. www.shac.org/camp-policies#leadership
- Maps: Map of Camp Brosig Google map of Camp Brosig
- Rangers: A ranger or volunteer campmaster will be available at Camp Brosig after 3:00 pm on Fridays.
- Rosters: A camp roster listing all participants must be submitted to the campmaster or ranger by Saturday at 10:00 am.
- Gate access: A camp ranger or campmaster will meet you to obtain access to the property at 3:00 pm and to unlock the gate and turn on the water to the facility and provide any needed keys.
- Additional keys: Keys on a red lanyard, hanging on a hook inside the meeting room, will unlock the registration trailer and first aid room. The kitchen key is in an additional key locker at the kitchen entrance. If you have reserved the kitchen, you will be given this code.
- Shelters: Shelters in the camping area are on a first come first serve basis.
- Barn: Ask a ranger or volunteer campmaster for access to equipment stored in the red barn.
- Needed repairs: If you find camp has been vandalized, had unauthorized use, or damaged in any way contact the ranger or volunteer campmaster immediately.
- Damage To Equipment and Facilities: Report all lost or broken equipment to the ranger or volunteer campmaster.
- Assistance: For assistance, please call a ranger or volunteer campmaster.
- Plant Identification Guide: See the Brosig Plant Identification Key for the plants and trees tagged at Camp Brosig.
The guide can be used to help Scouts in troops can work on First Class: #5. Identify or show evidence of at least 10 kinds of native plants in your community.
Cub Scouts can work on Tigers in the Wild #6. Find two different trees and two different types of plants that grow in your area. Webelos Scouts can work on Into the Woods #1. Identify two different groups of trees and the parts of a tree; #2. Identify four trees common to the area where you live. Tell whether they are native to your area. Tell how both wildlife and humans use them; #3. Identify four plants common to the area where you live. Tell which animals use them and for what purpose.
Outdoor Scouting Skills: Cub Scout can also work on several adventures at camp (e.g., outdoors and camping; and nature, plants, wildlife, hiking, and conservation). Scouts in troops can work on a variety of Scouting skills at camp. Find skills (pages 31-41) across ranks (e.g., nature, camping, fire, map and compass, hiking, knots, swimming, cooking).

Scouting Safely
The BSA's Commitment to Safety is ongoing and we want you to know that the safety of our youth, volunteers, staff, and employees cannot be compromised. BSA Guide to Safe Scouting policies must be followed. All participants must follow Youth Protection Guidelines at all Scouting events. Highlights include:
- Two-deep leadership on all outings required.
- One-on-one contact between adults and youth members is prohibited.
- The buddy system should be used at all times.
- Discipline must be constructive.
